With software-controlled locking mechanisms, drawers can be easily locked or unlocked during sample processing.

Our sample drawers come in various types, with the SBS format drawer being the most common. Additionally, non-SBS format drawers can be integrated into our system, accommodating NMR tubes (4” & 7” sizes), MTPs, glass vials, and more. Customization options are available to place drawers on both sides of the system, enhancing convenience and workflow efficiency.

This unique feature enables you to load and unload samples without opening the front door, ensuring a secure and efficient process. Safety measures are in place to guarantee that samples can be handled safely at all times.

The design of the drawers and their associated labware can be tailored to meet specific needs. The front panel of the enclosures includes a button that indicates the state of the drawer. Optional barcode scanners can be integrated to easily identify the barcodes of the labware adapter or carrier being introduced into the system.

Instructions for Sample Drawers:

Zinsser has incorporated an LED indicator with red and green lights to show the status of the open access drawers. When the button is pressed, a red light indicates that the drawer is currently blocked as it is being worked on. Conversely, a green light indicates that the drawer is available to be pulled out by pressing the corresponding button. If the button is pressed and the drawer is free, the interlocks for that specific drawer will be released, allowing the drawer to be pulled out and restocked. The locks will re-engage once the drawer is pushed back in.
