MINIS® 2000 

MINIS® 2000, crafted from polyethylene with a specialized sealing system, serves as miniature counting vials designed for liquid scintillation counting.

Properties are:

  • Greater safety through precision molding
  • Outstanding uniformity of thickness
  • Easier to open and close caps
  • Better seals leading to less leakage

The caps for MINIS® 2000 have both inner and outer seals, ensuring a secure fit. Applying them is easy—just push on and turn slightly for an excellent seal. To open, a small turn and pull action suffice.

Notably, MINIS® 2000 reduces sample volume, improving efficiency and resource use.

MINIS® 2001, designed for Mini-vial counters, follows the IEC-Standard. Its flush-sided cap, ribbed for easy handling, enhances user experience.

We designed MINIS® 2002 to hang in a 20 ml vial with a flanged cap. Compatible with all scintillation counters, this design seamlessly integrates into various laboratory setups.

We offer Borosilicate glass vials and HDPE vials with closures for maximum sample security and best screening capabilities. For scenarios requiring extremely low diffusion of samples to the environment, we also provide vials with PTFE coating on the inside of the HDPE vials.

 

The standardized 20ml LSC vials fit all standard LSC counters.

Properties of Polyvials® 20

  • Crafted from ultra-high-density polyethylene (Hostalen®), ensuring 100% purity with no reground material for superior quality.
  • Background: Low background rates ranging from 5 to 7 counts per minute (cpm), ensuring precise and reliable measurements.
  • Solvent Loss: Exceptional solvent resistance with less than 0.8% loss of Toluene at 20 °C over 24 hours, showcasing robust containment properties.
  • Material Expansion: Minimal material expansion of less than 0.8% in 200 hours when exposed to Toluene, highlighting durability and stability.
  • Temperature Stability:
    • Without mechanical strain: Can withstand temperatures up to 120°C, ensuring resilience in various laboratory conditions.
    • With mechanical strain: Retains stability at temperatures up to 80°C, providing reliability under stress.
  • Packaging: We meticulously pack vials and caps separately in dust-free plastic bags within the carton, maintaining the integrity of each component during storage and transportation.

Scintillation Cocktails

Step into a new era of safe and effective scintillation cocktails with Zinsser. We base our range on a solvent that is nontoxic, biodegradable, odorless, and has a flash point above 150°C. Designed for water-containing samples, organic samples, solid samples (filters), oxidizers, safe cocktails, and flow cell counting, our cocktails prioritize safety during transport and storage.

They are easy to transport and to store as well.
